Brandi is dedicated to helping clients achieve the optimal solutions to difficult family law issues. Brandi is a fierce advocate for her clients. She understands that family law issues are highly personal and emotionally charged matters by nature, and deserving of a well-considered and customized solution in order to achieve the desired outcomes. Brandi takes a fully-engaged approach with her clients, educating and empowering them to consider all options and make well-informed decisions about their futures. Brandi’s clients appreciate the high level of responsiveness and personal attention provided during what is usually the most important and stressful period of a client’s lifetime.
Brandi frequently represents clients in all matters related to family law, divorce, child custody, child support, EPO/DVO, pre-marital agreements and various other proceedings that involve property division, maintenance, custody, visitation and support issues, as well as select family immigration matters. Brandi has significant experience handling high conflict, and contentious cases that involve substance abuse, domestic violence, and mental health ailments, as well as complex financial matters including the valuation and division of privately-owned businesses; commercial and residential real estate; complex compensation, investment and retirement plans and other complex assets.
While adept and experienced in contentious litigation advocacy and court hearings and trials, Brandi prefers to work with her clients to find alternative resolutions to divorce and family law issues. Brandi’s goal is to partner with other professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, and mental health providers to help her clients achieve their goals in the least adversarial manner, whenever possible. This approach is especially beneficial in family law cases in which children are involved and both parties will be required to continue to communicate ongoing issues related to their minor children.
An uncontested case means you and your spouse have an agreement regarding all issues requiring a resolution in your case, including but not limited to: the division of property, and debt; and, if you have children, an agreement concerning custody, timeshare, and support issues.* If all issues are not agreed, or a dispute arises after the case is filed but before the case is finalized, this typically means the case is NOT uncontested, and additional fees are often required to complete the case. Brandi will assist her clients with preparing necessary documents which comply with state law, and state and local rules.
*Family law is a complex. Because all cases are different, the best and most efficient way to determine your needs is to schedule an in person one-hour consultation. During the consultation, we will review documents, discuss the circumstances unique to your case, and attempt to customize a plan particular to your needs. This approach is especially important when children are involved.

Mediation can be an extremely useful tool in many family cases. This process allows parties to reach resolutions on their case outside of the courtroom, in a neutral environment. Many clients prefer mediation because it not only reduces legal costs, but can also aid in avoiding protracted and stressful litigation.Brandi’s goal is to partner with other professionals such as accountants, financial advisors, and mental health providers to help her clients achieve their goals in the least adversarial manner, whenever possible.
